Creating a Home Inventory

Photo by Jean van der Meulen from Pexels Do you know how many things you have in your home? In case of a fire, or other unexpected accident, you can rely on your homeowner’s insurance, but how will you know what needs to be replaced? Amigo Insurance recommends making a home inventory to keep track of the things in your home. To create a home inventory, you should start off by going room by room. If you go room by room, the process seems less overwhelming, and the creation of the inventory becomes more manageable. As you through each room, make sure that you are writing down your items. Amigo Insurance also recommends having some sort of proof to prove that you really do own the items that you said you own. For proof, you can take pictures, record a video of the room, or keep receipts. To read the full blog, you may visit how to create a homeowners insurance inventory .
