Since the pandemic has forced people to stay inside their home, many have started to become aware of the renovations that their home might need. Amigo Insurance shares some tips for renovating your home with a tight budget.

A good way to start is by making a list. Amigo Insurance recommends taking a walk around your home to check on each one of your rooms. In each room, check to see if anything is broken. Even if something is not broken, the placement could be a problem. Remember, function should be your top priority. So, if you see something that does not function correctly or that hinders the way that you function, you can write it on your list. After checking the inside of your home, you can head outside to see if you find anything else that needs to be renovated.

Once you have completed your list, Amigo insurance discusses why it is important to set a budget. Take a look at how much you are earning every month. Then subtract the necessities that you must pay for, like food and bills. Take a look at the amount of money you have left over every month and ask yourself how much you can spend.
